FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, and to neurophysiology and pulmonology. It involves clinical electroencephalography prior to and two hours after administration of a single oral test dose of Grandaxin 50 mg. A coherent analysis of EEG follows. There are calculated an average zone coherence index in all frequency ranges between frontal and anterior temporal, and between frontal and middle temporal cortical regions of a right cerebral hemisphere. If the average zone coherence index is decreased more than 5% as compared with the reference value, a positive effect of Grandaxin in the integrated treatment of bronchial asthma is predicted.
EFFECT: method extends the range of products for prediction of effectiveness of Grandaxin in the integrated treatment of bronchial asthma.
