FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of ceramic materials, mainly to compositions of mixtures for making bricks. The ceramic mixture for making ceramic bricks includes a clay portion of tailings from gravitation of zircon-ilmenite ore and a product from combustion of gabbro-diabase-basalt mixtures for making mineral wool containing the following in wt %: SiO2 - 45.9; Al2O3 - 23.2; Fe2O3 - 10; CaO - 9.3; MgO - 4.8; R2O - 6.2, with the following ratio of components in wt %: clay portion of tailings from gravitation of zircon-ilmenite ore 70-90; product from combustion of gabbro-diabase-basalt mixtures for making mineral wool 10-30.
EFFECT: increased frost resistance and acid resistance of the articles.
