FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coke-oven battery equipment, namely to devices designed to entrap dust emission in coke discharge. Proposed device comprises case with hood arranged inside case with through slot-like clearance relative to its vertical axis, diffuser with dust separator and appliance to forced dust exhaust. Case top part accommodates chimney-like confuser communicated with diffuser. Dust-gas flow swirler is arranged between confuser and diffuser. Forced dust discharge appliance represents radial-flow blower wherein suction branch pipe communicates via two gas ducts with through slot-like clearance between case and hood, while pressure branch pipe is arranged under aforesaid dust-gas flow swirler with the help gas duct. Case bottom part accommodates pyramidal flaps communicated via case holes with slot-like clearance between case and hood. Dust-gas flow swirler has radial blades arranged at acute angle to dust-gas flow direction.
EFFECT: efficient removal due to shorter dust-gas flow path, ease of operation and repair.
