FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in melting wastes in two stages at presence of carbonic reducer and silicon dioxide (SiO2) as flux. At the first stage wastes are melted at ratio of wastes to carbonic reducer 1÷(0.06-0.15). Also melt is blasted with oxidant using top and side blast at ratio of volume of top blast to side one 1÷(0.1-1) till obtaining melt of matte and slag. At the second stage carbonic reducer is burned on surface of slag by oxidant blasting with top blast. Further noble metals are extracted from produced matte.
EFFECT: simplified sulphur wastes processing with transfer of main part of iron into iron-silicate slag and concentration of noble metals in matte.
