FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to overhaul processing of sulphidic polymetal raw material and can be used for processing of low-grade pyrite concentrates and dump tailings of pyrite floatation produced at benefication of sulphidic ores in non-ferrous metallurgy. According to method, pyrite-containing materials are subjected to melting with production of troilite matte which is then processed in liquid condition with introduction into it of fluxing additives in amount of 40-80% of mass of matte. Aforesaid fluxing additives contain aluminium and calcium oxides in relation of 1: (0.25-0.70) for producing ferrous-aluminous slag with silicon module above 3.0. EFFECT: high efficiency. 3 tbl
