FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a design of mobile self-contained steam medical sterilisers intended for saturated steam processing of multipurpose medical devices. A steam steriliser contains a water steam chamber (1) and a sterilising chamber (2) with a common flap pressure cover (5) and has water level sensors (19), a temperature sensor (21), a manual vacuum indicator (20), a safety valve (7) and a service valve (8), a vapour escape line comprising an electromagnetic valve (13) and a capacitor (14), and a control unit. The sterilising chamber represents a cup (3) perforated at the top and mounted on a bottom of the water steam chamber. The top of the sterilising chamber is connected with a pressure balance line, and its bottom - with an evacuation line including an electromagnetic valve (15) and a membrane vacuum pump (16). An outlet of the pump is connected to a steam, condensate and distilled water tank (17) connected to an outlet of the vapour escape and overflow distilled water line, while the electromagnetic valve (13) is connected to the bottom of the water steam chamber to the bottom of which an electric heater is attached from its side face.
EFFECT: invention allows cutting time for the drying stage and improving its quality, creating a compact, small-size, mobile and adjustable design which is low-power.
