FIELD: medical appliances.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of steam sterilizers intended for treatment of dressing materials, surgical clothes, medical instruments, surgical gloves and other medical appliances by saturated water vapor under pressure which do not change their functional qualities after process of treatment and subsequent drying at pressure lower than atmospheric pressure. Proposed device contains steam generator, sterilization chamber, condenser and connecting pipelines. Sterilization chamber is connected through condenser with steam generator, and condensate formed in sterilization chamber and condenser is drained into steam generator through controlled valve.

EFFECT: reduced consumption of distilled water and electric energy.
