FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to improved method of obtaining 1,3-diamino-5-nitrobenzole by reduction of 1,3,5-trinitrobenzole, which is used for synthesis of dyes, medications and polycondensation resins. Method lies in reduction of 1,3,5-trinitrobenzole with hydrogen in methyl alcohol medium in presence of catalytic amounts of palladium catalyst, such as 5% Pd on coal, at temperature 50÷55°C with ratio 6.0-6.05 moles of hydrogen per a mole of 1,3,5-trinitrobenzole.
EFFECT: method allows to increase output of target product, as well as to simplify its separation and reduce process cost.
