FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy of titanium alloys and can be used for parts and units of rocket and aircraft engines operating under high loads at temperature up to 750-800°C. Here is disclosed heat-resistant titanium alloy. Alloy contains wt %: aluminium 5.0-7.5, zirconium 3.0-5.0, tungsten 5.0-7.5, hafnium 0.005-0.2, titanium - the rest. Contents of aluminium Al and tungsten W meet inequality, wt %: [W-Al] ≤ 0.5. The alloy is produced in a vacuum-arc furnace by the method of double melting. Items made out of disclosed here alloy operate at temperature up to 750°C at continuous load and to 800°C° at short-time load.
EFFECT: high heat strength and heat resistance of alloy.
