FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: transducer on carrier frequency which is controlled from a computer through a system bus has a measuring bridge, a programmable driving generator of sinusoidal voltage on carrier frequency with automatically stabilised amplitude, a power amplifier for supplying the measuring bridge with sinusoidal voltage, a pre-amplifier on carrier frequency, a demodulator, a device for converting sinusoidal voltage to square wave voltage, a low-pass active filter with program-variable cut-off frequency, a program-controlled balancing device, a calibration device and a device for controlling operation modes of the transducer, a dc voltage output amplifier with programmable gain and an analogue-to-digital converter.

EFFECT: automatic selection of frequency and level of sinusoidal voltage on carrier frequency of the driving generator and frequency and level of the measuring bridge supply voltage; automatic stabilisation of the amplitude of the measuring bridge supply voltage, wider and automatic selection of the frequency range of the measured signal; automatic balancing of the measuring channel - compensation for signal shift due to spread of active and reactive parametres of the measuring bridge and connection cables; automatic control of operation modes of the measuring channel.
