FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: force measuring device has an elastic force sensing device made from a metal alloy with given elastic properties and an electronic device connected to the said force sensing device which generates tensoresistor power signals and amplifies signals from a tensoresistor bridge or half-bridge. Force is measured by detecting changes in ohmic resistance of the force sensing device itself, whose elements work as tensoresistors. By combining power and measurement functions using the force sensing device, the need to attach or sputter tensoresistors to another force sensing device is eliminated.

EFFECT: reduced creep, hysteresis and zero drift, increased linearity and service life of the force measuring device.
