FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: pressure measuring device has an elastic device made in form of one component made from a metal alloy with given elastic properties or in form of metal components made from the same alloy connected to each other and an electronic device connected to the said elastic device which generates tensoresistor power signals and amplifies signals from a tensoresistor bridge or half-bridge. Pressure is measured by detecting change in ohmic resistance of the metallic elastic device, whose separate elements or components work as tensoresistors. By combining power and measurement functions using the elastic device, the no need to attach or sputter tensoresistors to another elastic device is eliminated.

EFFECT: increased resistance to effect of thermal shocks and short-term pressure overloading, reduced creep, hysteresis and zero drift, increased linearity and service life of the pressure measuring device.
