FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to vascular surgery. Patient with atheroslerosis of aorta, pelvis arteries and lower extremities, without affection of brachiocephalic arteries, is subjected to ultrasonic examination in pre-operational period. Evaluated are absolute indices of blood flow rates by medial cerebral artery and internal jugular vein, as well as percent of their alteration after 5-minute compression test. 10-day course of treatment with preparation "Berlition" is carried out. Autoregulation of cerebral blood flow is re-evaluated in accordance with the given above protocol in dynamics.
EFFECT: method allows to evaluate efficiency of patient preparation for reconstructive vascular surgical intervention.
