FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metering devices used in rolling production. Sensor to control speed of sheet metal feed into rolling mill comprises vessel, where the following components are installed - frequency converter, electronic unit with light diode and light element, cylindrical rotor with axis and light-conducting hole for passage of light flow from light diode to light element, and resistors. One of resistors is intended to control light diode brightness, and the other one - to control voltage supplied to frequency converter. At the same time axis of cylindrical rotor is connected to lever, having cantilever with bearing.
EFFECT: simplification of design.
