FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for emptying hoppers. Proposed method comprises varying pressure in chambers arranged on opposite walls of hopper. Note here that pressure is varied simultaneously in both chambers. Note also that transformation of volume in one chamber 1 is performed in inverse proportion to pressure variation in the other chamber. Chambers are transformed in verse proportion to material flow rate from hopper. In transforming chamber volume chamber surface area is varied. Chamber volume transformation is perfumed when loose material bridges originate.
EFFECT: possibility to regulate loose material flow from hopper and eliminate bridges of loose material.
