FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to procedure for processing sulphur wastes containing non-ferrous, noble and ferrous metals and for their extraction. The procedure consists in leaching non-ferrous metals from waste and in successive extraction of noble metals from leaching cake. Also leaching is carried out by means of a bacterial complex. The bacterial complex consists of four kinds of acidophilic thion bacteria in an active phase of growth. At leaching micro-organisms are cultivated in a solution and accumulated. For this purpose there is prepared a weak-acid medium; and sulphur waste is actively oxidised. Iron, copper, zinc, arsenic, lead and antimony transit into a liquid phase at iron oxidising rate 24-26 g/l in twenty-four hours.
EFFECT: intensified extraction of gold and silver, additional production of non-ferrous metals and iron containing product, reduced negative effect to environment.
