FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: plug of well filter consists of hollow case and bottom. The bottom is made out of magnesium and is connected with the hollow case by press fitting a bushing into the case under the bottom; also the bushing is made in form of a ring. The bottom can be also pressed into a circular groove made inside the case. Axial forces are exerted on ends of the bottom to increase diametre of the bottom by plastic radial expansion. Additionally, width of the circular groove increses with growth of diametre and forms a dovetail lock.
EFFECT: reduced cost of plug and simplification of preparing well filter to operation.
