FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: armour protection comprises enclosure, made of fore, side and stern plates connected by welding, and cast turret, which external surface is made of flat multangulars forming prominent spatial polyhedron. On flat polyhedrons of enclosure and turret surface, prominent stems are installed. Each stem is installed with its flat base on elastic shock-absorber and fixed on the axis, perpendicular to polyhedron surface of enclosure or turret, with the possibility of turning and translational displacement along the axis upon shock-absorber deformation. In addition extra fixed prominent stems are installed on flat polyhedrons of enclosure and turret surface.
EFFECT: preemptive effect on missile and enclosure and turret bearing element protection is provided.
