SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for protecting tanks from anti-tank weapons. The tank is made with the possibility of installing an active protection complex, including: twelve wells with protective ammunition placed on the turret brackets, six transmitting modules, six receiving modules distributed along the perimeter of the turret, an instrumentation module with equipment installed in the aft part of the turret, for which common protective compartments are mounted on the side brackets of the turret. Also, the tank can be produced with a complex of modular protection means, instead of the active protection complex. On the released mounting brackets of the side compartments, side frames with dynamic protection containers from the complex of modular protection means are installed, and on the released brackets for fastening the hardware module of the active protection complex, a rear box of spare parts and accessories with anti-cumulative screens from the complex of modular protection means is installed. Additionally, protection of the projections of the lower part of the turret is provided with the help of mesh screens mounted on fasteners on the frontal blocks of the built-in dynamic protection of the turret, on the frames of the side dynamic protection containers, as well as on the rear anti-cumulative screens.

EFFECT: high degree of protection of the combat tracked vehicle and its crew from anti-tank weapons.
