FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device has two groups of capacitance level sensors which form adjacent arms of a bridge circuit, a frequency generator connected by the first and the second outputs to the diagonal of the bridge circuit, a phase-detecting element and a filter. The device also has first and second adders, a second phase-detecting element, a second filter and a computer unit. The phase-detecting elements used are synchronous detectors which are connected by signal inputs to outputs of the first and second adders respectively, by reference inputs to the third output of the frequency generator and by the outputs to inputs of the first and second filters respectively. The first inputs of the adders are connected to the output of the bridge circuit. The second inputs of the adders are connected to the first and second outputs of the frequency generator respectively. Outputs of the filters are connected to inputs of the computer unit whose output is the output of the device.
EFFECT: higher measurement accuracy, simplification and broader functional capabilities owing to formation of an authenticity feature of the output signal.
