FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: manufacturing method of quartz crystal elements for piezo-devices with piezoelectric vibrators of pin type and angle yx1/±45° at which quartz raw material is sawn into blocks; blocks are cut into workpieces, cut angles of the latter are measured; if necessary, cut angles are subject to the appropriate correction by means of grinding; as the result of mechanical treatment of workpieces there obtained is crystal element of the specified geometrical shape; treatment of crystal elements is finished by their being etched in hydrofluoric acid; then crystal elements are annealed, slowly cooled and transmitted for further operations; after annealing and slow cooling the crystal elements are excited in turn in the field of body electrodes, and by means of spectrum analyser there measured are resonance frequencies of thickness-shear vibrations; ratio of higher resonance frequency fh to lower frequency fl is determined, and the measured frequency ratio is compared to value range of 1.513÷1.521; if fh/fl ratio is less than 1.513, the workpiece has shear angle of yx1/+45°, if value of fh/fl is more than 1.521, the workpiece has shear angle of yx1/-45°.

EFFECT: recognition of signs of shear angle of quartz crystals at the stage of final manufacturing operation of quartz crystal, reduction of material and labour costs at manufacture of piezo-device.
