FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to agriculture, in particular - to fruit-growing. Method includes multiple tillage of soil during vegetation period until the garden starts fruting. In space between rows black fallow is used or periodical sowing of annual or perennial herbs used as green manures or turfs. Starting from the second year of garden planting, in spring, soil at moisture of 70-80% of lowest moisture capacity, is rolled in a single stage by smooth water-filled rollers. Herbage of naturally growing soil-covering plants is formed with optimal species composition by means of periodical mowing as they regrow.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to optimise soil fertility, to increase productivity of perennial plantations with simultaneous saving of resources and elimination of pesticides application for fighting weeds.
