SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular, to fruit farming, and can be used in the cultivation of fruit trees. The method includes seeding perennial grasses in the first year from planting between the rows of a young garden with a first inter-row tillage, a first mowing by crushing the standing vegetation from the undertree strips with replaceable brackets of the unit while applying the freshly mown inter-row grass by means of inertial rotation of the rotary cutting apparatus of the unit mower. A second inter-row tillage is performed, a second mowing wherein, as the plant crops grow out in a dry or humid year, inter-row perennial grasses are mowed, delivering and re-applying the grassed to the undertree strips by means of inertial rotation of the rotary cutting machines of the unit mower. A third inter-row tillage is performed by grinding, burying, and mixing the last year's mulch material with the soil using the replaceable cutters of the unit to a depth up to 16 cm in the areas of undertree strips at a tillage width up to 22 cm with soil cutters, and mowing fresh inter-row grass, delivered by means of inertial rotation of the cutting apparatus to the undertree strips so as to cover the tilled soil. Herewith, the loosening, mowing, and crushing are performed by a tillage unit.

EFFECT: method improves soil fertility, allowing for higher productivity of young perennial fruit trees.
