FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to ball mill lining. The cement mill classifying lining is composed of conic liner ring sections arranged all along the mill length. On the liners working surfaces ring gutters are arranged having cross-sections shaped as circle segments with the gutter cross-section radiuses r1, r2, r3…rn decreasing across zones l1, l2, l3…ln while the liners working surface slope angle α1, α2, α3…αn proportional to weights m1, m2, m3……mn of the milling bodies accordingly grouped per zones l1, l2, l3…ln. The liners slope angle is calculated from the expression: where K - factor of proportionality; R - inner radius of the mill drum, m; m - milling body weight, g; v - mill drum rotation rate, m/s: additionally, each ring gutter whose depth is 0.4-0.5 of the milling body diametre is equipped with projections whose height is 0.6-0.7 of the milling body diametre. The distance between adjacent gutters is taken so that the milling bodies placed in them come in contact with each other.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of milling bodies classification all along the drum length.
