FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sawmill equipment, in particular - to design of guides of disc saws of circular cold sawing machine. The declared technical effect is due to regulation of the saw blade position being performed with the help of two stationary permanent magnets by way of interaction of the magnetic fields generated by them within the air gap with the fields of the permanent magnets mounted on the saw blade, for example in the form of a ring, their polarity being identical, which results in generation of a repulsive force thrusting the saw blade. The repulsive force thrusting the saw blade is regulated by way of variation of the air gap between the permanent magnets mounted on the saw blade and the stationary permanent magnets with the help of, for example regulation bolts. Change in the geometric parametres of the permanent magnets, magnetisation direction, material they are fabricated of or their arrangement relative each other and the saw blade will enable variation configuration and intensity of the magnetic field generated within the air gap between them as well as the repulsive force magnitude.
EFFECT: improved stability of a circular saw during sawing due to reduction of inertance and energy-intensity of the system for the saw blade position regulation as well as the guide design simplification.
