FIELD: sawing and cutting of materials, in particular, devices for sawing and cutting of wood, metals, laminated materials.
SUBSTANCE: the device has two saw blades installed for rotation in opposite directions relative to each other, device for changing the value of mutual pressure of the blades in the state of rest, and drive components used for transmission of energy from the motor to each blade. One of the blades is made smooth, and the other is provided with a profiled band with radial recesses separated by crosspieces, whose shape is congruent to the shape of the recesses. The number of the radial recesses equals the value at which a gas dynamic plain bearing is formed in the cavity between the blades at their rotation, their bearing surface is the surface of the smooth blade, and the aerodynamic air layer serves as the lubricant layer. The drive components designed for transmission of energy from the motor to each blade are mechanically not linked with each other.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of performed operations, reduced power consumption, enhanced safety of the personnel.
