FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerospace engineering, particularly, to the plant intended for liquefying, accumulating and storing gas or air in liquefied state, and to method of operating such plant. Proposed plant comprises appliance to feed, compress, swirl and pre-cool gas or air being liquefied, supersonic nozzle to expand said gas to dew-point temperature, and device to divert formed liquid phase representing annular slot made between nozzle walls and tapered shell ring mounted inside the nozzle. Appliance to feed, compress, swirl and pre-cool gas or air being liquefied represents air aerospace aircraft intake that takes in supersonic airflow to convert drag power into static pressure, to swirly airflow and cool it down. Supersonic nozzle has cooled walls and is jointed to diffuser to make integrated thermodynamic channel. Annular slot of the device that diverts liquid phase can be cooled and communicates with onboard liquid-phase accumulator.
EFFECT: increased flight speed and height in air, vacuum and outer space.
