FIELD: cryogenics, applicable in various branches of national economy for production of liquefied gas, as well as for separation of components of gas mixtures. SUBSTANCE: device has a nozzle with a prechamber accommodating a means for swirling of gas flow, the nozzle is provided with a supersonic and/or subsonic diffuser installed at the outlet, and a means for picking up of liquid phase made in the form of perforation in the walls of the nozzle and/or annular slot, formed by the nozzle walls and diffuser inlet section. Besides, the subsonic diffuser is provided with a means for straightening of the swirled gas flow, and the means for straightening of the gas flow is installed in the subsonic diffuser in that place where the axial flow speed corresponds M= 0.25-0.45, where M is the Mach number in the given medium. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency in the process of gas liquefaction due to reduced pressure differential between the device inlet and outlet. 3 cl, 3 dwg
