FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention discloses apparatus for producing nitrogen oxide via direct oxidation in cold nonequilibrium plasma. The said apparatus includes nitrogen and oxygen supply pipes; a vessel for combining nitrogen and oxygen with inlet connecting pipes, placed in front of a plasma chamber, and a gas pump. The intra-apparatus part of the connecting pipes for inlet of nitrogen and oxygen into the vessel is fitted with mouth-pieces with multiple-connecting piece or multiple-channel nozzles for simultaneous flow of both gases in equimolar ratio. The mouth-pieces with nozzles are arranged side by side or opposite each other with formation of a space for convectional mixture of gases with the walls of the vessel. The vessel for convectional mixture of nitrogen and oxygen is joined to a container for molecular-diffusion blending of the mixture of gases, a connecting pipe for outlet of the mixture of gases connected to the pipe for feeding the mixture to the input of the plasma chamber. The container for molecular-diffusion blending of the mixture can also be made in form of a wide part joined to the vessel for combining nitrogen and oxygen at its bottom. Between the top narrow vessel for combining nitrogen and oxygen and the bottom wide container for molecular-diffusion blending of the mixture of gases there is distribution-damping insert in form of a packet of wire stuffing between perforated grilles.
EFFECT: apparatus enables to achieve absolute homogeneity of the raw gas mixture in a short period of time.
