FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to purification systems for natural or man-made bodies of water. Proposed system comprises housing with wall and bottom jointed thereto to accommodate porous filtration material with low hydraulic resistance, mesh filter with axle supporting free running impellers with their blades accommodating brushes to interact with said mesh filter surface that force entrapped impurities into detachable chute and overflow mat. Besides this system incorporates one or several filtration modules comprising rectangular cross section container. Hollow tight compartments-floats are arranged along container walls. Container is furnished with perforated wall with drain zone formed between said wall and container bottom. Said drain zone has two branch pipes with slots to divert purified water. Said branch pipes accommodate lead screws driven by submerged motors connected to storage battery charged by solar batteries mounted on aforesaid hollow sealed compartment-float. Container front wall is arranged below the level of its rear and face walls and furnished with inclined shelf bent inside. Said shelf supports overflow mat inner edge pressed by filter mesh wraparound plate bent along radius in its cross section. Aforesaid axle with impellers is fitted in cylindrical casing that can turn towards hollow sealed compartment-float.
EFFECT: possibility to purify water bodies and minor rivers.
