FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining industry and may be used in development of steep-grade thick ore bodies. Method includes tunneling field level drifts, near upper and lower borders of block, by rocks of foot wall, arrangement of sublevel drifts, formation of ceiling and ore breaking to open space, under protection of ceiling, discharge of broken ore and further breaking of ceiling and discharge of broken rock mass. Sublevel drifts pass in second bottom and overlying sublevels, from the side of foot wall of ore body, at the distance from it that equals width of hole drilling zone from sublevel drifts. Drill haulage crossdrifts pass towards hanging wall of ore body from sublevel drifts and from lower level drift, besides ore breaking from these crossdrifts is started from the border of mineralisation along hanging wall of ore body. Sublevel breaking is carried out with advance of lower sublevels ledges with ledges of upper sublevels, besides this advancing is preserved. Lower sublevel breaking, in volume of cut that directly adjoins collapsed rocks, is carried out after ore withdrawal over it. Broken rock mass at sections of cut is removed, accordingly, through end of drill haulage crossdrift. Simultaneously with discharge of rock mass broken in this cut, also a volume of rock mass broken in suppression of previous section of ceiling and stacked on surface of cut is discharged.
EFFECT: invention provides for efficient airing in development of overlying sublevels due to availability of open working excavation in process of their development and reduction of ore dilution.
