SUBSTANCE: invention relates to contact device (3, 40) with contact unit (15, 42) with at least one contact element (18, 45) to make electric contact between first contact (4, 49) arranged fixed on sliding unit (1) for low-voltage switchgear (2) and second contact (5, 54) arranged stationary in said switchgear. First (31, 53) and second (32, 56) contact surfaces of contact element (18, 45) are arranged perpendicular to each other. Note that, additionally, one contact whereon slides contact element accommodates at least one limiting element (17; 50) which has limiting surface (36; 66) running parallel to second contact surface (32; 66) and mechanically directing contact element.
EFFECT: electrical connection of contacts with contact planes perpendicular to each other.
