FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry and may be used to produce high-quality biologically active supplement (BAS) applied for direct consumption as prophylactics or for development of functional food supplement. Biologically active food supplement having hypoglycaemic properties represents powder. Powder is produced from a mixture of cloves, nutmeg, St. John's wort herb, coriander and oregano herb by means of mixture extraction by liquid food carbon oxide at the ratio of mixture and liquid food carbon oxide (1:1)-(1:3) at the temperature of 15-25°C and pressure of 6.5-7.5 MPa for 2-4 hours to produce non-fat material and extract. Then non-fat material is separated and ground to make powder. At the same time mass ratio of cloves, nutmeg, St. John's wort herb, coriander and oregano herb in mixture makes (1:3:3:4:5)-(1:4:4:5:6) accordingly.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to produce supplement with high activity of hypoglycaemic properties.
