SUBSTANCE: device comprises the following components: body having head end in longitudinal direction, blade part for hair cutting arranged on head end; holder, switch and mechanism for sliding blocking. Besides holder is installed on body in such configuration that it provides for the possibility of sliding along longitudinal direction of body. Switch is installed on body and is arranged with the possibility to switch supply source of blade part into working mode and idle mode. Mechanism of sliding blocking is interrelated to working mode by means of switch and has configuration providing for blocking of holder sliding mode relative to body. Version of device is also proposed with additional mechanism of rotation blocking, interrelated with switch and having configuration, providing for blocking of holder rotation mode relative to body.

EFFECT: inventions provide for improved convenience of use and user safety in process of device application.
