FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sorption-filtration materials for purification of gases and fluids. Proposed material comprises porous base with superfine particles of aluminium oxide hydrate, said particles being distinguished for grain size of 0.2 to 5.0 mcm, specific surface of 100-500 m2/g and porosity of 30 to 95%. Note here that aforesaid base represents 3D permeable matrix with pore size of 1 to 25 mcm and porosity of 42 to 98%. Said matrix may be formed by fibers, granules or represent a one-piece block.
EFFECT: higher sorption properties, mechanical strength and longer life.
