FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry, namely to techniques of removing mould cores. Proposed plant comprises heat-isolated tank for alkaline solution with electric heaters which is divided by a shield into alkaline solution settling and work zones. Work zone accommodates drum for treated workpieces, shaft with screw and drive roller interacting with said drum, and magnetostrictive drill. Drum runs free on axle fitted on inclined guide to move thereon and exit from tank.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption and simplified design.
