FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry. Processed castings are placed in drum cells with their open cavity downward. Drum with castings is placed in tank with alkaline solution onto inclined guide so that, at least, one cell is located above the solution level. Drum revolving, castings are swung to and fro and shook. Time during which billet stays above alkaline solution is smaller that that of being submerged. Ceramic core vatting is performed at high temperature of alkaline solution, its bubbling at ultrasound effects.
EFFECT: complete removal of ceramic cores.
