SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Gloves compartment interlocking mechanism (T) inhibits opening compartment cover 11 by outer force applied to the cover. Mechanism design allows opening/closing window 22 of gloves compartment casing 13 by turning the cover upward or downward. It comprises interlocking device (LM) that makes gloves compartment casing window end section engage with cover rear surface and prevents cover opening in case said cover deforms inward when completely closed. Gloves compartment casing 13 represents a two-section structure with two chambers: gloves compartment chamber 13a and cover chamber 13b. Said cover comprises front 11a and rear 11b sections and can move into aforesaid cover chamber 13b.
EFFECT: simplified design, improved operating performances.
