FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: drain device for reservoirs or tanks equipped with drain valve comprises overflow element, through upper hole of which water leaks out from reservoir or tank into inner cavity of this overflow element, when water level reaches its upper edge. Upper hole of overflow element leads to chamber formed by bell, lateral side of which passes outside overflow element, and lower section of bell body faces upper part of overflow element. At the same time narrow circular space is formed with the possibility for water to flow through it from reservoir or tank into inner cavity of overflow element to create a hydraulic lock in this circular space. Besides in specified lower section of bell body at least one through hole is arranged, and as a result, more intense suction is provided to increase water flow through inner cavity of overflow element. Lower edge of bell body and upper hole of overflow element lie at the same height, or circular space has at least minimum height sufficient to locate lower edge of bell body below hole of overflow element.
