FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: frequency converter comprises three-phase bridge fully controlled rectifier on six thyristors (1-6), input outputs of which are connected to input outputs of frequency converter, and single-phase inverter connected to output leads of rectifier through the first (7) and second (8) throttles of filter, including serial circuit that consists of controlled valve (9), shunted with opposite-parallel diode (10), saturation throttle (11), switching throttle (12), separating capacitor (13), leads of invertor AC connected to output leads (14) of frequency converter, the second separating capacitor (15), the second switching throttle (16), the second saturation throttle (17), the second control valve (18), shunted with the second opposite-parallel diode (19), shunted with filter capacitor (20), compensating capacitor (21), connected between common points of switching throttles and separating capacitors connection, and the second capacitor of filter (22), connected between common point of the first throttle connection to filter capacity and point of connection of the second throttle of filter to output lead of rectifier.

EFFECT: increased reliability of frequency converter operation with explicit DC link.
