FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of producing absorbing product that includes zone of holes for legs and zone of gusset and comprises flexible element that passes from said zone of holes for legs to zone of gusset. Proposed method comprises locating continuous medium of flexible element of required topology on at least one surface of canvas continuously carried during swinging of flexible element continuous medium in direction that crosses canvas feed direction. Canvas accommodating flexible element continuous medium is fed between first roller revolving in direction of canvas transport and second roller. Flexible element continuous medium and canvas between first and second rollers are pressed. Second roller has a recess made in preset pattern on first roller circumferential surface. Flexible element continuous medium and canvas are pressed between first and second rollers. Note here that flexible element continuous medium located in zone of appropriate zone of gusset on one surface of canvas that faces aforesaid recess on first roller circumferential surface.
EFFECT: improved joint between flexible element with canvas in zone corresponding to that of gusset.
