SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to cutting device and method of producing absorbing product wherein canvas is carried between squeezing roller and tappet roller and for canvas cutting. Proposed device comprises squeezing roller that has first larger-diametre part, outer peripheral circumferential surface that comprises cutting plate configured to cut continuous part of canvas. Besides proposed device comprises tappet roller that includes second larger-diametre part and faces first larger-diametre part, first belt conveyor configured to support and carry continuous part of the canvas and second belt conveyor. Second belt conveyor serves to support and carry discrete part of the canvas as seen in direction of canvas transport. First belt conveyor is configured to feed continuous part to the zone wherein first part of larger diametre and second part of larger diametre get in contact to squeeze each other. Second belt conveyor moves canvass discrete part between squeezing roller and tappet roller without contact with first and second larger-diametre parts.
EFFECT: elimination of manufacturing defects or poor appearance.
