FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely to recovery of on-track machine silent blocks. Proposed method comprises separating damping insert from inner and outer sleeves. First hydraulic press is used to press inner sleeve together with damping from outer sleeve using detachable punch. Said punch is used to detach inner sleeve from damping layer. Both sleeves are annealed in furnace at 220-230°C. Sheet of rubber mix is arranged between said inner and outer sleeves after it is subjected to rolling to reach preset thickness. Then silent block is placed in mould to vulcanise it at 170°C for 4 h. To produce aforesaid damping insert, rubber mix is used based on "БНКС-18 АМН" butadiene-nitrile rubber with admixture of powder superhighmolecular polyethylene and other components in a certain ratio.

EFFECT: efficient recovery of worn-out parts.
