SUBSTANCE: invention relates to military and special-purpose transport facilities. Proposed hinged side is arranged on lateral wall of box van and consists of two parts: top and bottom. Side bottom part consists of two inner (5, 6) and outer (7) sections folding together. Side bottom part is engaged with turning drive consisting of worm reduction gear (9) with steering wheel (11), winch (14) with rope and drum with rope. Both ropes are connected with two-link folding levers (19) arranged in symmetry along side outer section (7) and connected by inner sections (5, 6). The latter are provided with struts (25) that have height-adjustable supports (26). Side top part is provided with similar locking folding struts. Locking devices are arranged on outer side on top and bottom sections.

EFFECT: higher reliability and operating performances.
