SUBSTANCE: disclosed lamp socket is fitted with a terminal plate with connecting terminals on the sides of the socket for connection with contact pins of the lamp and terminal grooves in which the connecting terminals are fit in. The socket also has closing devices the thrust of which holds and presses contact pins to the connecting terminals.

EFFECT: lamp is not subjected to loading during fitting and removal, prevention of damage to the lamp and improved fitting of the lamp.
