FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention involves breaking down a created computer document into a certain number of components, were the components have explicit connections with each other. Presentation of the connections is created for the components of the document. A user can then navigate on the connections between the components for a quick understanding of the essence of the document and its components, and in order to determine location of specific parts of the document which are important for the user. The user can also open, edit and repeatedly use specific components of the document separately from the rest of the document and without need for opening and editing the document.
EFFECT: possibility of using part of a document without need for opening the entire document.
