FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: unit of neutrons radiator comprises neutron tube, circuit of neutron tube supply with cascade voltage multiplier and high-voltage transformer at the inlet, temperature compensator and heat sink. Between neutron tube and neutron radiator body there is cylindrical screen installed coaxially to neutron tube. Each cascade of multiplier consists of two coaxially arranged cylindrical capacitors serially connected to cylindrical capacitors of other cascades modules. Serially connected external cylindrical capacitors form levelling column. Serially connected internal cylindrical capacitors form step-up column. High-voltage transformer is connected to inlet of voltage multiplier. Temperature compensator is arranged as piston and is located in separate body and consists of piston with sealing and tightening rings. Unit of neutrons radiator is filled with liquid dielectric.
EFFECT: increased reliability of neutrons radiator unit operation in wide range of temperatures, reduced dimensions and weight.
