FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to source of neutron radiation, intended for geophysical investigations of oil, ore and gas deposits by neutron methods. In disclosed neutron emitter unit cascade multiplier each cascade consists of high-voltage diodes, high-voltage film capacitor of step-up and high-voltage film capacitor of equalizing column and wherein additionally contains two mounting boards from unclad glass-cloth laminate with holes, whereby metal balls are fixed in amount of 2M+2, where M = 1, 2,…, wherein, on one board high-voltage diodes in amount of 2M, where M = 1, 2,…, are connected to each other in series with soldered joint on metal balls. On other board step-up column high-voltage film capacitors are connected between each other in series by soldered joint on metal balls, and equalizing column high-voltage film capacitors are connected to each other in series on metal balls by soldering, fixed so that in their cavity were circuit boards with step-up column high-voltage film capacitors welded on metal balls.
EFFECT: simplified cascade multiplier mounting and higher strength of emitter unit entire structure.
