FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to cosmetic industry. A composition is used for personal care and contains dihydroxypropyltri(C1-C3alkyl)ammonium salt in a carrier. The composition is packed for consumer delivery and includes an insert printed on the package or attached thereto and specifying the local application of the composition on skin, hair or oral mucosa. Preferentially, dihydroxypropyltrimonium chloride is used as said salt.
EFFECT: salt has an effect of a moisturiser both at high, and at low relative humidity.
