FIELD: textile, paper.
SUBSTANCE: double-layer fabric comprises two layers connected to each other by ribs fabric loops and incomplete ribs fabric loops. The first layer formed on needles of cylinders represents incomplete jersey structure, besides needles in each row are disconnected out of operation in various wales. The second layer formed on disk needles represents a layer with tuck loops, which are arranged in staggered order. At the same time on the first side the loops produced from connecting thread come out in the form of rhombs, and in the second layer they form tuck loops in staggered order together with thread of layer.
EFFECT: expanded range of double-layer weaves, having stability of shape and possibility to use jersey at two sides.
